Welcome to Brixworth Class...
Here in Brixworth class you will find our year 5 and year 6 children. They are taught by Mrs Carpenter who is supported by Mrs Willmott their teaching assistant. In the Spring term the class theme is ‘Reach for the Stars’ and the children will be history detectives to find out about The Space Race. They will also spend time focussing on the relative size of the Earth, Moon and Sun, explore how we experience day and night, and find out about the planets. They will investigate the theories of famous scientists for example, Galileo and Hawking. Alongside these exciting discoveries, the children will design and make a space utility belt and explore different techniques to create space related art.
