A busy term for FOMS...

During the autumn term FOMS organised several events for us all. We all enjoyed the visiting pantomime presented briliantly by the Looking Glass Theatre Company. This was paid for by the FOMs as a 'thank you' to our parents for their support throughout the year. We all enjoyed the Christmas Market on 9th December - altogether £1779 was raised - thanks to all who made this event such a success. Thanks to T and L Marquee Hire for generously supporting the event. Finally, FOMS made it easy for parents by arranging a 'Santa Sale' where children could buy pre-wrapped presents for relatives. Thank you FOMS - another great term.

"Achieving More Together"

The Friends are a group of parents who support the school by raising money. We organize and run events such as the winter and summer fetes, school discos, cinema nights that all of the children thoroughly enjoy. Every penny we raise goes towards providing our children with equipment, school trips, and the best environment in which to learn.

As we are a very small school the friends need at least two parents from each year group to help out on the committee

What we do:

  • Meet once a month
  • Help out at events (once every 2 months).
  • Behind the scenes organization. (Shopping/ planning/ phoning/ posters/ flyers)

We need:

  • Volunteers to join the “Friends”
  • Volunteers to help at events- we put lists up usually
  • Your support in any way.

If you would like to join us and make a difference to the educational experience our children receive please contact the School Office by using our Contact Us page.

We are a small well-resourced Church of England primary school with 95 pupils currently on roll. At Milton, there is a strong Christian ethos that pervades all areas of school life. We have strong links with our local church and community. There is a good 'family' feel - we know each other well.

New children are assigned a 'buddy', settle well and make friends quickly. We are pleased to be a member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust. Click here for the PDET news page.
